Emily and I joined Bradley's class for a field trip to Yoke's grocery store today - it was FUN!  They got samples of Berry Smoothie, Mango, Cheese and Cookies!  They learned about produce, and what "organic" means.  They saw where all the food comes into the store, and watch the baler crush the cardboard boxes.  They visited the meat department and saw the butcher cutting steaks and saw how they get packaged for sale.  They got to go into the meat freezer and see what it feels like to be a popsicle!  They walked through the bakery and watched the baker decorate a wedding cake in 7 minutes!  They even got to see the managers office and the employee break room!  They all really had a good time and it was a fun trip!

All the kids in the class ended up spending over $28 on gum!!  LOL!  Good thing the store was able to void the transaction!

Emily helped him get dressed this morning..... :)  A police officer visited his class today and Bradley is proudly showing off his "Jr. Officer" badge!  He said he loved playing in the police car, but the siren was "too loud!"

Now that we have nice, fresh, clean grass in the backyard, we are looking for fun games that the kids can play to take advantage of the space... today at Target we found this great BIG Volleyball set!  It's awesome because the volleyball is about 5 times bigger than a regular volleyball, and because it's inflatable, it's lighter.  So it's easier for the kids to hit and it won't hurt if it lands on their heads!  Although, with our wind... light may not be a good thing!  It was really hard to get to the ball over the net when the wind was blowing it back to us!  It was so fun, though and I think the kids will have fun with this all summer!  They also have BIG Tennis, BIG Badminton and BIG Golf...

It's Teacher Appreciation week at school and tomorrow is "Flower Day" so Emily and I made this flower collage to give to her teacher.  Emily wrote "Thank You Mrs. McKay" and signed her name on the back.

We took a trip to the nursery down the street to price up some playground bark for the backyard and they had a cute little demonstration garden with a pond and lots of fish!  The kids loved it!
