We took a trip to the nursery down the street to price up some playground bark for the backyard and they had a cute little demonstration garden with a pond and lots of fish!  The kids loved it!

The back yard still needs work, but they really needed to get outside and run off some energy!  Boy they had a good time!

He was having a blast rolling the soccer ball down the slide, then sliding after it, carrying it back up and doing it all over again!

She was Captaining her own Pirate Ship!  She even made up a song about sailing the seven seas!  ".. and then they'd sail the 8th sea, and the 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th... and when they got to the 20th sea, there'd be a treasure!  Yea, a pirates life for you and me!"  She was quite funny!

We got her a new light to replace the beaded chandelier that no longer works.  We picked this up at the Universal Studios Citywalk in Hollywood.  She picked it out, and she just had to have the one with the butterflies!

Had a laid back day today - we had to get some laundry done and then we got packed up to leave tomorrow... we did head over to Downtown Disney one last time to catch a movie and some dinner.

We went to the Santa Monica beach and bought a couple of cheap kites for the kids to fly, the weather and wind was perfect for keeping them in the air and the kids loved it!
